Fiat Wallets
📄 This section is under development.
Support for fiat wallet metadata and reconciliation flows is under review as part of the ongoing Crymbo Connect roadmap.
While CRYMBO focuses on on-chain identity and compliance, we recognize the growing need to connect off-chain fiat operations — particularly for regulated VASPs and institutional clients operating across both traditional and digital asset rails.
Goals of Future Fiat Wallet Support
- 🔄 Link fiat transactions with on-chain events for full auditability
- 🔐 Associate verified banking details (e.g., IBAN/SWIFT) with KYB profiles
- 📊 Enable cross-system reconciliation for stablecoin issuance, cash-in/cash-out flows
- ⚖ Enhance compliance scoring by including fiat-origin metadata
Use Case Examples
Scenario | Description |
---|---|
Fiat deposit triggers on-chain mint | Reference fiat deposit ID in metadata of stablecoin issuance |
Off-chain settlement logging | Attach fiat transaction reference to withdrawal TX |
Compliance audit trail | Map user identity to both fiat and crypto flows |
Integration Notes
At present, any fiat-related flows can be handled via custom metadata fields, webhooks, or external systems working in parallel with CRYMBO Connect.
Next Steps
This documentation will be updated once formal fiat wallet integration flows are released as part of the Crymbo Connect roadmap.
